I Can't Believe It Is March

Well I can not believe it is March already. Spring Break is a week away for me and it seems this year has flown by. I have applied for acceptance into the nursing program in Lewistown next fall and will know something on that hopefully by May. Keep your fingers crossed. I am playing on a league volleyball team in Lewistown, the Traveling Sailors, one night a week and it is going quite well. We have our final tournament at the end of the month and it looks like we may be sitting pretty well.

Ryan started wrestling, his first meet was in Stanford on the 13th of February. He is going pretty strong and it is pretty amazing to see his progress from this year to last year. He gets aggressive on the mat and is really figuring out the moves. First grade is going well and busy. Ryan is taking a series of AR reading tests and doing quite well on them. He loves to read and it is hard for me to let him read a book to me. I guess this means my little boy is not a little boy anymore. Ryan got to go skiing last Thursday. He is so fearless at everything he does. Crashes and going fast doesn't phase him in the least little bit.

Samantha is getting ready for Kindergarten screenings and Preschool graduation. She is very excited to go to school and be able to ride the bus with Ryan. She loves going to wrestling meets and watching her big brother. She yells for him, she gets that from me I guess. She is so easy going and just plays and entertains herself. It is calving season at the ranch so she likes the new babies. She even traded her Uncle Beau some cake for a calf with an "S" on the back of it's ear tag. I don't know if she knows but Uncle Beau's last name starts with S too. She got to go out to a friends house and see the new baby lambs as well. She likes them because they are small and she can hold them in her lap.

Well that is all the news I can think of for now. Hope this finds you all well.

The New News

So I am a first timer so here we go!

Family- The kids and I are still living with my dad. He is great. He watches them when I am at school and just takes good care of us. I know it is hectic and he has been such a huge help. Kristy and Beau had twin girls this month so I have to new nieces it is very exciting. Robert and Linsey are settled into married life so that is fun for the kids to have another official aunt. Todd is in Havre, still banking and we don't get to see him as much as we would like.

Me- I am back in school and so busy. I have to go to town two nights a week and am taking 13 credits this semester. I am also still working at the extension office. So needless to say if I ever lose my planner I am going to have a complete meltdown as it is my life's organizer. My hair is short and brown which is kind of a big change. Other than that I am just chasing after the kids.

Ryan- Ryan is a first grader, so big. It is very hard for me to believe that my little boy isn't little. He enjoys playing football and watching football while Uncle Beau coaches. He likes to ride Benny the big grey horse and loves the four wheeler. Ryan played football at the little wolf football game today at half time of the varsity game. It was pretty cool. He also got to be the ball boy at one of the games for Beau and earned himself a spot in the paper. He wishes sometimes that he could go back to Kindergarten when he only had to go to school three days a week. That is so my busy boy.

Samantha is in her second and final year of preschool. She is so big. She has grown five inches over the summer and is almost caught up with Ryan which makes him mad. She still loves her animals. We have a puppy named Boone, a black cat named Spook, and a pony named patches. She is the epitomy of a girly girl. She loves anything pink and likes to play in the dirt. Tom boy/Girly Girl cross; it is pretty funny. That is all we are up to for now. We miss you all!
